The pop singer, who finally won her battle to adopt Mercy, a little girl from Malawi, has asked her best friend, Paltrow, to help decorate her little girl’s room in New York.
According to a source, Madonna was extremely impressed by Paltrow’s decorating finesse, judging by how she decorated her own daughter Apple’s room. Hence, she has asked her friend to help do the decor for Mercy’s new room. "Madonna wants Mercy to feel like a little princess when she arrives," said the source.
The Queen of Pop’s request to adopt Mercy was initially rejected in April, since she did not live in Malawi for at least 18 months, a prerequisite for adoptive parents. However, the decision was overturned, which means that Mercy will be arriving by private jet to live with Madonna in the coming days.
