Although she is American, the 35-year-old star doesn’t want to return to her native country.
The decision comes after her brief hospitalization on January 14 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Paltrow’s husband, singer Chris Martin, had an incident with photographers at the hospital. Paltrow now intends to stay in London with her husband, and their children, Apple, 3, and Moses, 1.
A source close to the star told The Chicago Sun Times that the celebrity would not return to the States, "unless she absolutely has to for work."
The source added, "Gwyneth was truly frightened by the intensity of the whole thing. She was feeling fragile at the moment."
According to Paltrow, the media and photographers are more aggressive than in the United Kingdom and will do just about anything to infiltrate the private life of a celebrity.
