According to Ebony magazine, Berry has finished recording an album that will be released next year.
The star of the X-Men films, among others, already demonstrated her singing ability in the films Dorothy Dandridge and Why Do Fools Fall In Love.
The 40 year-old actress explained, "I’ve always loved to sing. This album will show people that I can do more than act."
