Harrison Ford Joins Manhunt

Harrison Ford will star in the war suspense film Manhunt for Walden Media.

Ford will play Colonel Everton Conger, the director of a special squadron sent to find the man who assasinated Lincoln.

The film will be produced by Lawrence Bender and the script is being written by Mike Rich (The Rookie, Finding Forrester).

The story follows the story of the Lincoln assasination in 1865.  The special forces from New York set out to solve the mystery and find John Wilkes Booth, but they discover that even more plans may put the nation in a new war.

Manhunt was inspired by the James L. Swanson novel "Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer."
