Harry Potter studio tour opening in London
Fans of "the boy who lived" will soon be able to go behind the scenes of the Harry Potter movie franchise when Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter opens next year, reports the Daily Mail.
The three-hour walking tour will feature the actual sets, costumes, animatronics, props and effects used in all eight Harry Potter films, giving visitors a detailed look into the movie-making process.
"While the Harry Potter film series reaches its highly anticipated conclusion this summer, its incredible filmmaking story and its relationship with Leavesden is set to live on with the launch of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter," says Dan Dark, managing director of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden where the new attraction is currently being built.
"The tour promises to be one of the most exciting and memorable visitor attractions anywhere in Europe, delivering an experience never before seen by the general public."
Tickets for the spring 2012 opening will go on sale later this year. For more information, see the tour’s official website.
The eighth and final installment of the movie franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, opens in theaters on July 15, 2011.
