Heath Ledger was found dead in a Manhattan apartment yesterday afternoon (January 22). The police are suspecting that he may have overdosed. Paul Browne, spokesperson for the New York police department, reported that the housekeeper found Ledger dead when she walked in to announce that his masseuse had arrived. There were pills found strewn all around the body.
The Brokeback Mountain actor separated last year from his wife Michelle Williams, with whom he has a daughter, Matilda.
Ledger will be seen one last time in the movie Batman, The Dark Knight, which will be in theatres later this year.
