Ledger’s family reacted on Saturday (March 8)after they became aware of the contents of Ledger’s will. People reported that the actor had not been given any information since the birth of his daughter, Matilda Rose in 2005, whom he had with Michelle Williams.
His father Kim stated, "Matilda is our absolute priority and Michelle is an integral part of our family. They will be taken care of and that’s how Heath would want it to be."
According to New York’s Daily News report last Saturday, Ledger had made out his will in April 2003, and designated his parents and his sister as the only beneficiaries of the will.
The star’s rep assured that Matilda and Williams would not be overlooked. "The story is getting taken out of context and media is speculating that this means Matilda and Michelle will not be taken care of. I want to make it very clear nothing could be farther from the truth."
