Heather Locklear will not resume her role as Amanda Woodward in the latest Melrose Place, not because of creative differences, but because the CW network believes that the star’s requested salary was too exorbitant.
"In these tough economic times, the network simply wouldn’t – or couldn’t – pay Heather the kind of money she thought she deserved. She wanted at least $100k per episode, which is what she could have commanded in pre-recession days, and the CW would only pay half that…or less," revealed the National Enquirer.
It seems that CW’s decision to recruit new stars to the cast, such as Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, has left Locklear furious.
