According to the website Contactmusic, Mills has been receiving death threats and is now being kept under the eye of the English police.
The estranged wife of the former Beatle, Paul McCartney, was informed by police in Merseyside that they had received a threat towards Mills. Although there is in no immediate risk, the former model has installed a new alarm system in her home.
Bernie Murphy, a representative for the police, explained, "Local officers have been fully briefed regarding the circumstances and provision has been made for an immediate police response should this be necessary."
During a recent interview with the BBC, Mills, 38, revealed that she had been receiving death threats. She is reportedly scared and depressed.
