A Los Angeles court approved the supermodel’s recent request to take her husband’s last name. As of last Friday (November 20), Klum will be sharing the last name of her husband, Seal.
The 36-year-old beauty will now be known as Heidi Samuel for both personal and professional matters.
Earlier this month, the Project Runway host filed necessary paperwork to change her name. The star made the decision four years after marrying Seal, whose real name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel.
The celebrity couple also recently welcomed a new member to their family. Little sister Lou, five weeks, joins two older brothers, Henry, 3, and Johan, 2. Klum also has a 5-year-old daughter, Leni, from a previous relationship.
Mrs. Samuel took part in the Victoria’s Secret runway show last Thursday (November 19) in New York. Although she was not modeling on the runway, she served as a host. The show will air on CBS on December 1.
