According to the CanWest News Service, a man verbally threatened the life of the 19 year-old star. Duff was in Canada being interviewed by MuchMusic for the television show Live@Much. The man was outside of the studio while the singer and actress was being interviewed.
Police quickly apprehended the man when he began screaming and yelling outside of the studio. Shortly after the incident, the Gypsy Woman singer was signing autographs for her fans. Duff is currently promoting her third CD, Dignity.
