There has been speculation that Duff would have a part in the comeback of the 1990s television series, but the actress told a journalist from Us Magazine, "No, it’s not true."
The re-make of the 90s show will air on CW, and the network confirmed that there will be a well-known actress assuming a role. Actress Lori Loughlin, who played Becky on Full House, will play the part of Celia Mills, a former Olympic medalist, and mother of two teens, Annie and Dixon. These two teens will be main characters of the show.
Screenwriter Rob Thomas is also trying to recruit Jennie Garth to play the part of Kelly Taylor, which she filled in the 1990s.
