Hilary Duff’s pregnancy prank

Hilary Duff have shocked fans by posing with a fake baby bump.

Hilary Duff has teased her fans by pretending to be pregnant.

The former ‘Lizzie McGuire’ star posted a video of herself rubbing an apparent baby bump on her Instagram account sparking much excitement that she is expecting again, but later revealed she was wearing a prosthetic for an acting role.

Hilary, 30, wrote: "Of course my faves are the ‘Lizzie’ also not really pregnant guys … just shooting a movie (sic)"

The actress-and-singer was also modelling a pair of glasses named the ‘Lizzie’ from her new eyewear collection with GlassesUSA.com.

The former child star has previously admitted she felt "pigeonholed" for becoming a mother aged 24 to son Luca, five.

She said: "I feel like I was judged for having a baby too soon, and getting married too soon and now, I’m pigeonholed for being a ‘mom’. Lots of women in the industry that don’t have a child yet are judged. We are the most in demand and the most desirable, but the most judged and the hardest on one another. It’s so much scrutiny." the hardest on one another. It’s so much scrutiny."

Hilary has Luca from her marriage to NHL player Mike Comrie. The couple tied the knot in 2010 but split in February 2015.

The ‘Younger’ star confirmed in December she is back together with her ex Matthew Koma.

The couple split in March last year but were romantically linked once again after they were spotted smooching, and she has admitted they are an item again for the third time.

Hilary said: "It’s going so great."

She also compared her reconciliation to Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber’s on/off relationship, admitting "timing" plays a big part in a relationship.

Speaking on ‘The Talk’, she said: "I mean, this is like the third time that we’ve dated and I think that what [Selena] says has so much merit to it. Timing is such a big deal … third time’s a charm.

"I think that you have history and a past with someone and love, and just because it doesn’t work out the first time, the second time, as long as there’s not too much damage done, then, it can always work out again."
