History Repeats Itself at the Emmys

Last night (September 20) marked the 61st annual Emmy Awards ceremony, where television’s finest stars earned their golden trophies.

During the evening, Mad Men and 30 Rock stole much of the spotlight.

Mad Men earned an award in the Outstanding Drama Series category, 30 Rock won as this year’s Outstanding Comedy Series, and the star of the show, Alec Baldwin, took home the title of Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

The list of winners did not veer too far away from last year’s list. However, new winners were announced, including Glenn Close, who won an Emmy for Damages in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category, and Bryan Cranston, for his role in Breaking Bad.
