H&M Sends Kate Moss Walking

Supermodel Kate Moss has lost her lucrative contract with H&M.

The Swedish company will no longer use the model after learning that Moss was using cocaine last week.  The story was printed in London’s Daily Mirror.

The British tabloid also included photos of the model with lines of cocaine at a recording studio with her fiance, Pete Doherty.

Moss has attempted to apologize for her actions, but H&M has decided that they will no longer use her services.  The contract was estimated to be worth $1.8 million.

In a communication from H&M, their decision was formally made, "H&M is strongly against drugs and for many years has actively supported the drug preventing organization Mentor Foundation. After having evaluated the situation, H&M has decided that a campaign with Kate Moss is inconsistent with H&M’s clear dissociation of drugs."
