A new Hole album is on its way on April 27. It’s the group’s first release since Celebrity Skin in September back in 1998.
This is really the Courtney Love show. She reformed Hole without calling on any of her former bandmates to come back too. Montrealer Melissa Auf Der Maur is one former band member who did not get the call but she is doing her own thing, carving out a successful solo career.
The new Hole will perform a song live on the Late Show with David Letterman on the day the record drops. The band also has four sold-out shows scheduled at the end of April. There’s two in Los Angeles (April 22, 23) and two more in New York City (April 27, 28). Hole will then high tail it back to L.A. to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 29.
