Everyone knows about the legendary Oktoberfest, the annual celebration of beer held every year in Germany for two weeks in October.
However, the United States also celebrates a similiar celebration in Cincinnati, which is becoming more and more popular each year.
This year, the American version of the beer celebration has invited none other than Homer Simpson, the father on the animated TV show, The Simpsons, that has been on the air for 20 years.
Called Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, the event began in 1976 and takes place over 2 days. It usually attracts close to 500 000 people.
Each year, the festival invites a personality to perform the "chicken dance" and this year Homer Simpson has been delegated this role on September 19 and 20 in Ohio’s capital.
