Hugh Hefner thinks that the star of the Hannah Montana series, who has recently caused controversy with her provocative photos in Vanity Fair magazine, would be sensational on the cover of his famous magazine.
"She would be welcomed in the magazine. She’s a very pretty lady," the wealthy 82-year-old editor said. Hefner would not officially give Miley Cyrus the offer until she is of legal age.
According to Hefner, Miley’s photo scandal was nothing but an example of flagrant American puritanism. He added, "I think to make such a big to-do over something as innocent as those photos, I think is a reflection of how schizophrenic America is about sexuality."
If the young 15-year-old singer/actress accepts the Playboy proposition, she will be among the myriad of stars who have posed for the magazine, including Denise Richards, Drew Barrymore and Pamela Anderson.
