Variety announced that 20th Century Fox has acquired the rights to the comedy Avon Man by screenwriter Kevin Bisch (Hitch).
Jackman will be starring in the film, in addition to co-producing the project with his partner at Seed Productions, John Palermo, and Gary Foster of Krasnoff Foster Entertainment.
The story follows a man who loses his job working at a car dealership. He then gets recruited as an Avon sales rep, and becomes one of the best by utilizing his charm and good looks.
Hugh Jackman has several film projects lined up for the coming years, including Unbound Captives, with Rachel Weisz and Robert Pattinson.
