According to Variety, Jackman and his production company, Seed Productions, have acquired the film rights to the novel "The Amateur", by Robert Littell.
Evan Katz will be in charge of writing the screenplay, and his partner John Palermo will also be involved in the production. Jackman will play a cryptographer whose fiancee is killed in a suspicious plane crash. When he discovers that the plane was brought down by terrorists, he finds the leverage that forces his bosses to train him to exact revenge.
