The performance that the two stars did together at the Oscars last winter has become the idea for a new film.
According to Variety, Jackman will play the founder of the P.T. Barnum circus in the project. Hathaway will play Jenny Lind, a singer with the full support of Barnum.
A contemporary spin will be given to the film, including new music. The singer Mika is currently in negotiations to write music and lyrics for the project. The screenplay will be written by Jenny Bicks (Sex and the City).
Hugh Jackman is currently very busy with several different projects. He will soon begin shooting Unbound Captives with Robert Pattinson.
