Humor, action and nostalgia in the trailer for The Garfield Movie!

Sony Pictures has released the trailer for The Garfield Movie, which marks the return of the much-loved character to the big screen. Chris Pratt will lend his voice to the legendary Garfield in this upcoming animated film.

The film promises to combine humor, action and the timeless charm of Jim Davis’ comic strip.

The trailer shows Garfield as a young kitten seeking shelter on a stormy night. He is saved by Jon Arbuckle, played by Nicholas Hoult, who spots the orange kitty in a restaurant and decides to give him a slice of pizza.

The meeting between Garfield and Jon marks the beginning of a unique friendship!

The Mark Dindal-directed film also features Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillen and Brett Goldstein.

Fans can’t wait for the new chapter in Garfield’s story to be released on May 24!
