I think Jacob Fowler has a good chance of winning a Vezina one day

Tonight, two of the Canadiens’ hopes were in action in the NCAA.
First, the goalkeeper Jacob Fowler.
The young goalkeeper was in front of the net of his team, Boston College, as they faced the University of New Hampshire at home.
The locals won the game with a score of 4 to 1, while Fowler had a notable performance with 25 saves out of 26 shots.

This was already his 23rd win, including six shutouts, in 30 starts so far this season.
The goalkeeper is having an exceptional campaign with his university. Before tonight’s game, his goals-against average was 1.73 and his save percentage was .937.
After a good first season, Fowler is really making a name for himself in the American college circuit.
Si Fowler ne regarde pas l’avenir, Perreault prédit un Vézinahttps://t.co/5nj8fxbThn

“[Fowler] gets better with each game, every year. He’s really special as a player. When he makes the jump to the NHL, I think he has a good chance of winning a Vézina one day. He’s really special.”
Let’s just say Perreault has high hopes for the Canadiens’ prospect.
Of course, we have to take this statement from a teammate with a grain of salt.
For now, the goalkeeper hasn’t played a single game in the NHL, and as we’ve often seen, a great career in the NCAA doesn’t guarantee a great career among professionals.
But it’s still nice to see Fowler performing like this.
On the other hand, Michael Hage continues to do well with the Wolverines of the University of Michigan.
Today, in a game against their eternal rival Ohio State, the forward made a great play on Terry-Jonathan Hughes’ goal, the third for his team.

Michigan finally won the duel with a score of 3 to 2.
Hage is really doing well in his first season in the university ranks. He has 33 points, including 13 goals in 31 games this season.
I’m really looking forward to seeing these two prospects at the next Canadiens training camp!
