Iggy and The Stooges will sing punk versions of Madonna’s songs at the ceremony.
The choice was no accident, as both of the musicians are from Detroit. Iggy Pop, 60, became friends with Madonna when he opened for her Dublin show of her 2004 Reinvention Tour.
Other artists who will be at the ceremony to be held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York on March 10 are Damien Rice, James Cotton, Patti LaBelle, John Mellencamp and The Ventures.
