The uniquely-designed Barin Sky Resort located in the mountainous region near Shemshak, Iran, draws inspiration from the surrounding countryside to create a breathtaking white-on-white aesthetic.
The beehive-shaped exterior of the ski resort features a stunning white interior, with only the occasional dash of color. Each guest room is domed to resemble the inside of an igloo, and skylights provide natural lighting in the stark white room.
The walls and furniture are custom-made, flowing into one another with smooth, wavy lines that undulate along the entire interior, where every corner is rounded and every surface is layered.
Rooms are equipped with a custom-made bed, kitchenette including a refrigerator, oven and stove, full washroom with bathtub, walk-in closet and separate storage area for ski accessories, plus a seating area with an LCD TV.
Designed by architects at RYRA Studio, the hotel has been in the works since 2008. In the heart of the mountains, Barin is about an hour drive from Tehran and is only one kilometer away from the Shemshak ski resort.
