The movie is bringing back the man of steel, played by Brandon Routh. The original Superman was played by Christopher Reeve, who passed away on October 10, 2004.
In the pictures available we can see Superman lifting a car, in his costume. This has been slightly modified in the newer version.
The movie is also starring Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane, and Kevin Spacey, as the infamous Lex Luthor. The director is Bryan Singer (X-MEN). Filming is going on at this time, and the movie is expected to be released in 2006.
