Impressive Line-Up for War Child Album

Radiohead and Coldplay will be featured on the next compilation album for the War Child organization.

The first War Child musical collaboration was released in 1995 as The Help Album, a 20-song compilation featuring several artists contributing to raise funds to aid children in conflict zones. Now, a second disc striving for the same cause is set for release before the end of the year.

The first album shed the spotlight on the beginnings of what would be known as the song Lucky on Radiohead’s OK Computer.

The new compilation, War Child: 10, set to be released on December 1, features renowned artists such as Coldplay, Radiohead, New Order and Beck who have lent War Child their talents and fame to collect the most funding possible.

The release of the latest edition coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Canadian organization, which promotes children’s rights, education, and fights against poverty in countries at war, such as Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Uganda and Congo.
