According to Life & Style magazine, the romance between Richards and Bon Jovi guitarist, Richie Sambora, is becoming even more serious. At a recent appearance at New York’s Fashion Rock concert, Richards was spotted wearing a new diamond ring on her finger.
The ring, however, was on her right hand. Nonetheless, rumours of an engagement between Richards, 35, and Sambora, 47, are going strong. Some insiders say that the two are planning to wed in May, 2007, in Italy. A source told the magazine, "They were on their way to the Staples Center (in Los Angeles when Richie proposed)… He got down on one knee in the back of the limo."
Perhaps the two stars want to keep their engagement quiet until their divorces are final. Sambora is nearly through his divorce process with actress Heather Locklear. The source added, "Richie is a very traditional guy. He wants to wait until they are both officially divorced. Then they can make the engagement real. "
