Thirsty for some ‘designer’ water? French brand, Evian, has partnered with Japanese designer, Issey Miyake, known for his innovative, minimalist style, to create its fourth annual limited edition water bottle, reports Luxuo.
Miyake follows in the footsteps of several big names in fashion including Christian Lacroix, Jean Paul Gaultier and Paul Smith, who have each designed new looks for the Evian bottle.
This newest bottle, signed by Miyake, is decorated with an imaginary, shimmering flower, symbolizing youth, and printed with the Evian slogan, Live Young.
“Evian encourages everyone to live life by seeking memorable experiences, trying new things, and seizing every moment,” said Jerome Goure, vice president of marketing for Danone Waters of America.
He went on to add that the design represents “optimism and freshness,” reflecting the Evian brand perfectly.
There are two versions of the bottle, one exclusively available at Issey Miyake shops worldwide, and the other at www.shopevian.com.
