Universal Pictures has released a trailer for It’s Complicated, the new comedy by Nancy Meyers (The Holiday).
The film stars Meryl Streep as Jane, the mother of three grown children, who owns a thriving bakery and restaurant in Santa Barbara.
Divorced for 10 years, she meets up with her ex-husband, Jake (Alec Baldwin), at her son’s graduation in another city. An innocent meal turns into an unimaginable liason.
Meanwhile, Jake is remarried to young Agness (Lake Bell). Suddenly, Jane becomes the other woman. Then, in the middle of the story, we find Adam (Steve Martin), who is renovating Jane’s kitchen, has a soft spot for her.
It’s Complicated will hit theatres on Christmas day.
