Jarrod Beinerman, who was arrested, following the burglary and theft that occurred in Kirsten Dunst’s SoHo Grand Hotel apartment in New York, was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison.
In August 2007, the man was arrested after a surveillance camera caught him red-handed. Police revealed that money, digital cameras, an iPod, a purse, and the star’s ID and credit cards were stolen from the apartment.
Defence attorney Mitchell Elfman said that his client admits to breaking into the hotel and has since been undergoing medical treatment for his drug dependency.
On September 10, he will also be slapped with charges of drug possession.
