Topshop’s Fall/Winter collection featuring Kate Moss will be in stores in October. This will be the supermodel’s last collection with the company.
Kate Moss has earned a reported $5.2 million during her time with Topshop. She began working for the company after meeting Philip Green at a charity auction. He paid almost $100,000 CDN for a kiss from Kate Moss but ended up donating the kiss to the second highest bidder Jemima Khan.
Moss has collaborated on 14 collections with Topshop. Head honcho Philip Green commented: "It has been fantastic for us and fantastic for her, but they take more and more time and she cannot do this full-time any more because she has other commitments."
However, a source sang a different tune: "Kate Moss’ range has not been selling at the same rate that it was and was in danger of running out of steam. At one point, she was doing six collections a year but they cut it back to two a year because they could not sustain it and that is when it started to falter."
