Jack Johnson announces tour
Chart Attack reports that Hawaiian singer-songwriter-surfer Jack Johnson will tour North America and Europe to promote his latest album To The Sea. It will be released on June 1.
The Upside Down singer will play some shows in Australia and Hawaii in April and then head to Europe to play some summer shows. He will stop at the Roskilde and Glastonbury music festivals and perform in Germany, Holland, France and Belgium.
The star has two shows scheduled in Canada, July 19 in Toronto and October 1 in Vancouver. Tickets go on sale April 10.
To The Sea was recorded at Johnson’s Mango Tree Studios in Hawaii and Solar Powered Plastic Plant in Los Angeles. The artist co-produced the album with bassist Merlo Podlewski, keyboardist Jack Gill, drummer Adam Topol and sound engineer Robert Carranza. No list of songs has been released.
