Jack White produces his wife’s first album

Former model Karen Elson finds help close to home for her debut album.

Jack White’s wife is releasing her debut album and didn’t have far to go to find a producer. Karen Elson first gained fame as a model with long, curly red hair. She is releasing The Ghost Who Walks at the beginning of the summer.

He is possibly one of the busiest men in the world of music with three bands: The White Stripes, The Dead Weather and The Raconteurs. But Jack White found the time to work on Elson’s first album. She is not only his wife; she is also the mother of Henry Lee White, their first child together.

Karen Elson’s website offers fans a free download of the title song The Ghost Who Walks.

She also recorded a cover of the song Je t’aime moi non plus by Serge Gainsbourg, a duo she did with Cat Power. She also works with the Citizens Band, a group that plays in clubs.
