Jack White returns to rap… and Mozart

Jack White, Insane Clown Posse and Mozart make unusual music together.

In an extremely unlikely partnership, former lead singer of the White Stripes, Jack White has teamed up with horror-rappers Insane Clown Posse to produce a new song originally written by classical music genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, reports Rolling Stone.

White’s own label, Third Man Records, will produce the single, which is due for release on September 13. Available on 7-inch vinyl and iTunes, the song will be accompanied by B-side track Mountain Girl as well.

"Back in ’82, ahem, 1782, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wrote a piece that’s been left out of the spotlight ever since," explains the label’s official website. "The title of the piece is ‘Leck Mich Im Arsch,’ or literally translated to English as ‘Lick Me in the A—-.’ Understandably this piece has figuratively been swept under the rug." The idiomatic translation of the song title is ‘Kiss My A—‘ or ‘Get Stuffed.’

According to the website, the single "marries Mozart’s melody (and lyrics sung in operatic German) with ICP’s poignant lyrical addition in English and Jeff the B’s monster-riffs, letting the whole thing tie together in the most beautiful of ways."

The website also warns that – unsurprisingly – the track is not safe for work or children. You can listen to Leck Mich Im Arsch here.
