Variety reports that Jackie Chan has already begun working on the screenplay for his next film, Junior Soldiers.
This period film is set during the Qin dynasty. The story will focus on three characters and a horse.
In addition to writing the script, Chan will also be producing and acting in the film, under Sheng Ding’s direction.
After being the voice behind Monkey in Kung Fu Panda earlier this year, Jackie Chan will be starring in next year’s The Shinjuku Incident. The opening date has not yet been determined.
