According to OK! magazine, Janet Jackson has begun proceedings to obtain legal custody of her late brother’s three children.
It appears that Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket feel the same way about their aunt. "All three want Janet to read to them at night. They just melt into her arms when she walks into the house," said a friend of the Jackson family.
According to the same source, it seems that the singer intends to become more involved in raising the children. "Janet is not only willing to raise those children, she is also the only relative who knows how to protect them. Janet knows the value of a private life and knows how to keep her personal life out of the news," added the source.
In Michael Jackson’s will, his mother Katherine is to become guardian of his children.
