Jada Pinkett Smith Makes a Directorial Debut

Jada Pinkett Smith made her debut as a director with the movie The Human Contract.

Jada Pinkett Smith traded acting for directing in the movie The Human Contract. In addition to directing, Pinkett Smith wrote the screenplay along with her husband Will Smith, who is also the producer.

Filming will begin this week in Los Angeles. The cast includes  Jason Clarke (Brotherhood), Paz Vega, Ted Danson and Idris Elba (The Wire).

The Human Contract tells the story of a successful businessman who meets a mysterious beauty who tries to seduce him.

Pinkett Smith, 36, just finished filming The Women, directed by Diane English. Jason Clarke can be seen in the movie Death Race.
