Both attended the Saturday Night Live TV show hosted by Swift’s friend, Emma Stone. “They showed up together,” said a source. “They walked around together backstage, but they were careful not to be seen too close. It was hard to tell if they were together, but everyone was shocked that she brought him.”
Then on Sunday (October 24), they had brunch with another couple and strolled around Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighbourhood. Witnesses say they were friendly towards each other, but did not kiss or hug. For now, their relationship remains a mystery.
Gyllenhaal dated actress Kirsten Dunst for about two years, and then actress Reese Witherspoon for two years until November 2009.
In 2008, Swift was in a relationship with pop singer Joe Jonas, and in 2009 was linked to Twilight actor Taylor Lautner.
