According to MovieHole, the star of the movie Brokeback Mountain, may be doing the part of Harvey Dent, brilliant prosecutor of Gotham City.
In this third film, Gyllenhaal could be the lawyer that transforms into his alter ego, Two-Face.
The part of Dent/Two-Face has been previously done by Tommy Lee Jones in the movie Batman & Robin.
The next movie in the Batman saga is expected to be in theatres in 2008.
