Casey Aldridge, the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’ 10-month-old daughter Maddie, was injured in a car accident yesterday morning (April 26), reports People. The police accused him of having done a reckless manoeuvre, and was charged with a misdemeanour.
Spears, 18, went to the University of Mississippi Medical Center where Aldridge was admitted.
A family member revealed that Aldridge was completely conscious, and was resting and talking with his friends and family at the hospital. The source stated, "The doctors are pretty positive he’s going to be okay. He should recover fully."
Another source close to Britney Spears’ sister said, "This must be just horrible for Jamie Lynn. I know she loves him."
The rep for Spears has not given any comment.
