According to close friends of the couple, Britney Spears’ younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, and her boyfriend, Casey Aldridge, have broken up. People reports that Spears is now dating businessman James Watson.
A Spears’ family friend says, "She’s going through a lot of changes. It has been painful. She’s a young mother and struggling in a lot of areas."
The star moved out of the Mississippi house she shared with Aldrige about six weeks ago and is now living with her mom, Lynne.
Spears and Aldrige were planning to get married after the birth of their now 19-month old daughter, Maddie.
According to the source, Spears, who was 16 when she got pregnant, has grown up a lot since her pregnancy while the opposite can be said for Aldrige. The young woman had enough of the situation and called it quits.
Last April, Aldrige was hurt in a car accident after making a dangerous move with his vehicle.
Spears is now 18 years old and is dating James Watson, 28, owner of a multimedia group near Kentwood, Louisiana.
Watson would not comment on his relationship with Spears.
