According to People, the champion figure skating couple, Jamie Salé and David Pelletier had a baby boy, Jesse, at a hospital in St. Albert, Alberta.
Pelletier expressed, "Jamie and I are thrilled and we’re very excited about parenthood. Jamie was terrific through labor and birth and we’ll be going home Monday."
The figure skating couple began skating together in 1998, and their relationship blossomed one year later. In December 2005, the couple was married, three years after bringing home the Gold Medal at the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City.
