Donatella Versace has chosen Mad Men heroine, January Jones, 32, as the face of Versace’s new ad campaign, reports Vogue.
Rumours had been circulating after Jones was spotted in the front row at the Versace fashion show in Milan during Fashion Week. It has now been confirmed that Jones will be the face of Versace’s spring-summer 2011 fashion advertising campaign. No other details were available regarding the campaign, other than it will be photographed by Mario Testino.
Jones rose to prominence in the role of Betty Draper in the critically acclaimed television series. She has two thrillers in post-production due for release next year: Unknown White Male, co-starring Liam Neeson and Diane Kruger, and The Hungry Rabbit Jumps with Nicolas Cage and Guy Pearce.
Cast in the role of Emma Frost, she is currently filming X-Men spin-off, X-Men: First Class, directed by Matthew Vaughn.
