The actor has become paranoid of germs after turning 40, because he thinks he’s going to catch a virus and die a horrible death, reports FemaleFirst.
The Hancock star celebrated his 40th birthday last January, and even though he is in good health, he admits that he’s afraid to die.
Bateman revealed, "Forty’s OK, it’s a little bit different. I mean, I feel young and I look young, but I’m becoming very afraid of my mortality because I’m pretty much halfway to death. If I live to 90, then yeah, I’m pretty much halfway to death. I’ve become more aware of germs."
