Jason Mraz To Release DVD

Following the success of his album, We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things, Jason Mraz is ready to release a concert DVD.

The San Diego singer will soon be offering his fans the chance to purchase a DVD that captures his most recent tour, called Gratitude Cafe.

Mraz, who sold more than 1.3 million copies of his third album, recently revealed some details about the DVD project.  "It is definitely in the works," Mraz told Billboard.com. "We have chosen a city on this tour (for the filming), but it’s too soon for us to announce it. But we are organizing a remarkable team to make a live DVD out of this thing."

The singer and his team have already recorded several hours of footage from the tour, as well as the daily activities on the tour bus.

Mraz’s North American tour continues until October 10, where he will perform his final show in Los Angeles.  The singer will then travel to South America for more shows.

Mraz will then focus on his next album.  He explained, "I’d say there’s six songs right now that I would love to put on the record, plus everything else I’ve written."

"And I can promise you it’s not going to be different from anything else I’ve ever released," added Mraz. "It’s gonna be upbeat, optimistic, colorful and groove-y, hopefully."
