According to Billboard, Jason Mraz says he has "tons and tons of material" for his next album and that in fact he may be on two at once.
"I kinda hope that I do [have two albums] because I’ve been doing three years between each album now…But I’ve got so much stuff right now that it hurts my feelings to leave some of it off one album, and I would like to know that I’ll have a follow-up album all ready to go," he says.
The singer has collaborated with some interesting artists for the new songs.
In November 2009, he recorded The Way is Love, an published Roy Orbison song, with Willie Nelson.
The 33-year-old singer has also already recorded some of his new material with Britain-based producer Martin Terefe.
