Last night (October 1), Jay-Z attended the Global Leadership Awards in New York. According to People, the star was asked about his plans to start a family with his new wife, Beyoncé.
Jay-Z was honoured at the gala for his efforts to distribute clean water to the children of Africa, an initiative that began several weeks ago.
Several stars, including Angelina Jolie and Madonna, have adopted children from the struggling countries that they visited, but Jay-Z does not feel the same way. He said, "No. I don’t want to bring any kids home."
For now, the rapper would like to conceive his own children. He added, "Most people dream of having a family someday. So I’m just a regular American boy."
