Designer Jean Paul Gaultier created the wardrobe for the stage production of Snow White, reports Vogue.fr.
The production, choreographed by Angelin Preljocaj, is part of the Lyon Biennale de Danse programme.
The director of Ballet Preljocaj, a choreography centre in Provence, asked Jean Paul Gaultier to make Snow White’s costumes. Gaultier is suited for the job, since his previous collections were inspired by the princesses, Donkey Skin and the Little Mermaid.
Lyon Biennale de Danse will take place from September 6 through September 30, and Snow White will be presented starting October 10 through October 25 at Théâtre National de Chaillot in Paris.
