Coco Perez reports that Jean Paul Gaultier decided to revive his 2008 fragrance MaDame for an Eau de parfum launch.
Model Agyness Deyn is the face of this boyish-inspired fragrance. She’s the incarnation of the insolent woman, sparkling and modern, who is not afraid to show her style.
The MaDame website (ma-dame.com) is really interesting. It calls the Eau de parfum, "An addictive floral perfume, spicy and sophisticated, a black rose cloaked in patchouli, with flashes of a biting pink pepper warmed by musk and cedar. A seduction as refined as it is affirmative!"
The site talks about the inspiration for the perfume, other products and has lots of extras. There’s also a cool contest, Glam & Rock Girl, which JPG fans will no doubt love.
The contest invites participants to "Show your style and post your best picture in the Glam’Rock gallery."
The winner will receive a Glam’Rock day in Paris, Jean Paul Gaultier accessories as well as an invitation to JPG’s next runway show.
Five finalists will participate in a photo session with a professional photographer and the top ten finalists will receive a complete line of MaDame products.
